REKINDLE

1) to excite, stir up, or rouse anew
2) to cause to begin burning again; ignite again

It has been one year since the last time I posted.

One year. 12 months. 52 weeks. 365 days. 8,760 hours. 525,600 minutes. 31,536,000 seconds.

I have found that in one year A LOT can change in one's life. In one year I have found there are things I can live without — but more importantly I have found what things I cannot live without.

Throughout this past year I had multiple small inklings to do a blog post but I always had some small thought which blocked my action — “eh it’s not that interesting”, “oh I really don’t have enough time”, “wow, its been a too long since the last post…”. I kept hedging back and forth as to whether I really wanted to blog or not. I seriously “wrote” so many blog posts in my head while I would was out running or riding the bus or day dreaming. PLUS, I have multiple friends who blog, which keep me continually inspired. (You can check them out here, here, here, and here!)

So, as one who follows schedules like it is her job (read: as one who follows schedules because it IS her job) I put a deadline on my wavering feelings. If I was really missing this blog one year from my last post, then there is really something there and I would commit.

Considering you are reading this blog post — you guessed it! I have returned to the blog-o-sphere. I won’t lie, it is not so much “blogging” that I missed, but writing. I truly love writing and my love of verbs is in no way extinguished. After a one year hiatus it is time for me spend some quality time with the English language and…

REKINDLE!
