When I saw the Groupon deal for a tour of the LeMay Family Classic Car Collection at Marymount, I knew it was time for a Dad and daughters date. It is not often that my sisters and I have a special outing with my dad -- but knowing the passion my Dad has for cars, it was obvious that this would be a hit!

Little did I know, the collection is HUGE. We spent the better part of 5 hours touring the grounds and listening to interesting historical stories from the tour guide and my Dad. The guide even said to us, "Wow -- you have a very knowledgeable father!" We know, and we couldn't agree more. 

My favorite parts were hearing about the days when my Dad owned his own cherry red Austin Healey (complete with six speeding tickets in seven months!) and the history of the Pierce Arrow motor company.

If you have a car lover in your family -- checking out the LeMay collection is a must! Pack some snacks, clear your calendar, and get ready to REMINISCE!
