If you are a 90's child, you watched Nickelodeon. And if you watched Nickelodeon, chances are your favorite show (or at least second favorite to Legends of the Hidden Temple) was Double Dare.
I used to dream of going on Double Dare. I would image myself jumping into the ice cream sundae in the kiddie pool searching frantically for the flag, as the time incessantly ticked away on the clock. Why did they discontinue that show?!
Thankfully, my faithful friend Groupon helped make my dreams come true with The Slime Run. This was a 5k run/slime obstacle course at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA and was the perfect run for my sisters to join us for! This event was much less about the running and much more about the slime filled obstacles!
As we drove to Carnation, we were a bit worried about the weather -- but the rain held out until after we finished, and received our slimey medals! After the run, we cleaned up and headed to our favorite spot for a post run brunch. A very successful Saturday.
