Although this blog post is not super exciting -- I feel like I have been slacking on my posting, which is weighing heavily on my conscious. Therefore, this update is probably more for myself than anything else.
The primary reason that I have been in a mini-hiatus is that my personal laptop is failing...the ever continuing decline started in November and has reached the point where I am afraid it might not even start up if I turn it on (fingers crossed we get one more start up out of her so I can extract my files!).
That being said, as of yesterday -- I am the owner of a BRAND-SPANKING-NEW laptop, complete with a touchscreen and Windows 8. I have only played with it for an hour, so I have a lot of learning to do but I am very excited about it (I also plan on taking a complementary Windows 8 class, so I can learn about all the goodness I have at my fingertips)!
I have been up to loads of fun stuff, there are good verbs in the hopper, and I am totally feeling inspired!
Fear not, as there is much more to follow this brief...
